Cranes: Overhead/Gantry
This course gives a general overview for the operation of overhead/gantry cranes. Participants will be trained to know how to inspect, care for, and safely use cranes and other hoisting equipment. All cranes are different and may have specific operating, safety, inspection and maintenance requirements. It is essential that manufactures operating manuals are available and crane operators are familiar with the crane they will be using.
