Annual Hazardous Waste (RCRA) Training

Who must take the training?  - This training is required annually by the WV Department of Environmental Protection for any person (paid employee or not) who handles chemicals and/or unwanted material in a laboratory and may include, but is not limited to faculty, staff, post-doctoral fellows, interns, researchers, technicians, supervisors/managers, and principal investigators who work unsupervised.  Undergraduates and graduate students in a 100% supervised classroom setting are not required to complete this training.

If your training has expired, then you must complete this training either online  OR in an offered classroom session.  You do not need to take both.
